About me
John Peter JarkI am convinced that clarity, reliability and independence make all the difference, especially in crisis situations. Anyone who commissions me can rely on experience and the power of realisation - on a partner who listens, thinks critically, takes responsibility and looks to the future.

John Peter Jark
As a restructuring and transaction lawyer with a very strong commercial understanding and a professional background in financing, I have been working in various positions for 30 years. My international network has been and integral part of my work for decades. This means that I understand the nuances and cultural differences that can become significant factors when dealing in stressed situations.
My work requires speed and decisiveness, reliability and the ability to work in a team with clients and their advisors; qualities that I have and need in my professional environment. I see my work as a service for my clients, as an obligation to find and implement the optimal economic solution by utilising the legal possibilities. I have already been able to provide my services from various perspectives in particular to investors, entrepreneurs, managing directors and banks.
The legal challenges can be solved - it's just law. But industry experience and teamwork with the client, its employees and advisors define the path to the goal. We think "out of the box" and "is it a box at all" - and if that hasn't been started by now, then it's high time.
Legal issues must be prepared in such a way that not only national, but especially the international clients understand the issue in their language. Translate legal language into business or into a foreing legal concept. Only then the client can decide and be convinced of his decision.
Get going - especially in difficult situations.

"If you know the industry, you can help. If you don't know the industry, you can write an expert opinion."
My way of working
My work is not about managing problems - it's about getting to the root of them and finding solutions.
Comprehend.
Every project begins with an understanding of the economic and legal reality
Solve.
This forms the basis for viable and legally sound concepts
Perform.
I accompany the process until it is fully realised.

What else makes me special
I'm not a fan of loud performances. Anyone who works with me will experience a calm, focussed conversation partner - even after work with a saxophone, a saucepan or a good whisky.
